If you've come here, that probably means that you'd like to apply for our Junior Web Developer position. If not, you should still feel free to answer the questions below if you'd like, but there's really no need to send them to us in that case.

We know that there's a lot more to you than what it says in your resume and code sample, and we'd like to give you the chance to show us a little bit more about who you are as a person and what kind of developer you are before we ever even meet for an interview.

So, we're asking you to please include a section in your cover letter called, "Website Questions," where you respond to any two questions from the list below. This will give you a chance to tell us a little something extra about yourself, and it'll help us get a better sense of who you are. When you're ready, please remember to send all of your application materials to field15jobs@field15.com.

The questions:

  1. What is your favorite web browser and why?
  2. What is your favorite IDE and why?
  3. What programming language(s) do you like working in the best and why?
  4. What programming language(s) do you like working in the least and why?
  5. Is there a programming paradigm that you think is generally "the best" and, if so, why and which one?
  6. If you could live anywhere in the world, where would you live and why?
  7. What's your favorite movie and why?
  8. What's your favorite song and why?
  9. If you couldn't be a web developer, what career would you choose and why?
  10. Do you prefer tea or coffee and why?
