Building Professional Social Work (BPSW)
BPSW is an organization trying to build foundations for both social work education and services in underserved countries. Their current projects are in Indonesia, where they're working with governments, universities, and students to create pilot projects dealing with HIV, conflict mitigation, early childhood education, and post-disaster relief.
field15 was asked to redesign their old website and create an interface that would appeal to students, professionals, and potential donors. We worked with BPSW staff members and the organization's outside PR company to develop a cohesive and web-friendly face to the organization.

Yayasan Jembatan Masa Depan (JMD)
JMD was established in 2005 to help the men, women, and children affected by the 2004 tsunami rebuild their lives. Many people were affected by that natural disaster, and a 2005 peace treaty between Indonesia and Aceh provided a unique opportunity for non-profits like JMD to help. Over the years, JMD has focused on establishing both agricultural and educational programs so that these communities can learn how to rebuild themselves.
field15 was asked to design a new website for the organization, placing a special emphasis on appealing to the Indonesian visitor. One of the most important hurdles that had to be overcome was a language barrier, so we worked with JMD, a PR company, and a translation company to have all the pages translated from English to Bahasa Indonesian. From there, we wrote a tool that detects which language the visitor is most likely to want to see the site in and then displays that version of the site. This website needed to be accessible to all users as quickly as possible, and this was a great way to accomplish that.

Apostrophe
Apostrophe is a blog focusing on cute, environmentally-friendly stuff for women over 30. The site is hoping to become a good resource for women looking for clothes, stationary, jewelry, mugs, mousepads (you get the idea) who want to have something a little different. It's fun having something unique, but it's not necessarily fun scouring websites hoping to find what you're looking forapostrophe is here to help!
field15 designed the site using a custom blogging platform originally created for in-house projects. The platform lets administrators easily post new messages, change settings related to user comments, add items to RSS feeds, and manage ad services. It also lets the administrator tag posts by topic and provides an archive for easy logging.

PillowPatter
Everyone dreams, but who knows what all those images mean and what they can tell us about our inner thoughts? Well, at PillowPatter, other users can! PillowPatter provides a place for community members to post their dreams and then open them up to the public for interpretation. Some of the interpretations are undoubtedly funny (and some of the dreams are equally laughable), but you never know what you might learn from your new-found PillowPatter friends.
field15 designed the site, logo, user interface, account creation process, and several other main pieces of the site. PillowPatter also has a Twitter presence, RSS feed, and a custom developed post and reply system.

Building Bridges to the Future Foundation (BBF)
BBF is a U.S.-based organization currently working in Indonesia to help the underserved people of the area establish micro-economic growth. Working with individual villages to create new programs, teach new skills, and provide new jobs and commodities, they've developed several successful programs that have made a real difference in the community.
field15 was asked to develop a new website geared toward non-Indonesian donors. They asked for a very clean, people-oriented site that could easily be updated to keep up with BBF's new programs. field15 was also asked to provide continued maintenance for the site, and we worked with BBF staff members and an outside PR firm to finalize the text and photos.

League of American Orchestras
Founded in 1942, the League of American Orchestras (formally the American Symphony Orchestra League) is a non-profit organization dedicated to the support of chamber, collegiate, symphony, and youth orchestras throughout the U.S. With almost 1,000 member orchestras, they play an important role in today's classical music arena. The League focuses on information dissemination, education, and advocacy for the field, and covers topics as diverse as PR, government, and job services.
field15 has worked with the League for several years, and we've been part of dozens of projects over that time. For example, we've been hired to design websites, design and create a data warehouse, conduct several research projects, integrate their Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software with their mailing list manager, develop web-based survey applications, and we've even been asked to fill in for their web maintenance staff between hirings.

Tri-Service Nursing Research Program (TSNRP)
Founded in 1996, TSNRP is a program within the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences, a component of the U.S. Department of Defense's Military Health System. They're in charge of selecting, providing, and supporting research grants to military nurses trying to improve the health of both military members and their families.
field15 has been working, in some capacity, with TSNRP since 1999. In that time, we've been hired to design Section 508-compliant websites, maintain and update websites, develop and maintain an intranet-based grants management database, and provide generalized IT consulting. We've also been asked to help the department transition to a paperless environment.

Winter Growth
Winter Growth was started in 1979 as a place for health-impaired adults to receive care and other services while avoiding a full-time nursing home placement. As a non-profit, they've focused on ways to support the independence of its participants, enhancing their self-esteem and dignity through activities like afternoon BBQs, book clubs, drama groups, acupuncture, and tai-chi.
field15 was asked to create a new database system that would allow Winter Growth staff to track a participant from intake to discharge. This included everything from referrals to scheduling to nutrition to billing to reports. As part of the billing piece, we also had to set up a system that would allow Winter Growth to create electronic Medicaid bills, track payments, and work with a third-party piece of accounting software.

PerLectric
PerLectric is a full-service electrical systems contracting company based out of Fairfax, Virginia. They've bid for and won hundreds of contracts over the years, and they've built a strong reputation in the Virginia, Maryland, Washington, DC, area. For each contract, they're responsible for keeping track of countless project and budget details, and they've amassed a lot of data in the process.
field15 has worked with PerLectric since 2005, when we were asked to create and mantain an internal database that would allow PerLectric staff members to manage users, contacts, estimates, permits, projects, inventories, and several other metrics. Along with all these, field15 has also created countless reports that PerLectric uses on an almost daily basis to manage and keep track of all its employees and projects.
